Rehoboth Planning Board Sends Baker Street Subdivision Plan to Engineering Review

REHOBOTH — May 20, 2026 — Rehoboth Planning Board opens public hearing on a five-lot subdivision near the Swansea line. Engineer Alexander Gordetsky presented the definitive subdivision plan for Dream Home LLC's proposed development at 5 Baker Street, a 9.75-acre parcel, describing a 100-year-storm-rated drainage system, a detention pond, and walkout-basement homes necessitated by groundwater as shallow as 18 inches. Owner Joe Pacheco of Fall River said his company builds homes complete before listing, targeting 2,500 to 3,000 square feet, drawing on experience from a 10-lot Swansea development. The board unanimously approved four waivers — sidewalks, fire tank payment in lieu, cul-de-sac pavers, and environmental impact evaluation — and referred the plan to engineering consultants Fuss and O'Neill.
