Planning Board endorses two lot divisions, again delays solar vote

Planning Board · Meeting of August 5, 2026

Rehoboth Planning Board endorses two lot splits, delays solar vote a third time. The board unanimously endorsed Approval Not Required plans for five new lots at 154 Agricultural Avenue and a lot division at 131 Bay State Road, but continued a solar and battery storage special permit to August 19 after peer-review firm Fuss & O'Neill again failed to deliver a promised technical memo. Board member Ed said, "This is just killing me.

How many times have I come here and the delivery didn't happen?" Members also tabled a recommendation on whether the town should exercise its right of first refusal on a 94.5-acre Chapter 61B parcel under agreement for $1.605 million, with several questioning whether that price covers the same acreage just subdivided elsewhere on the agenda.
