REHOBOTH --

YOUTH LEAGUES

Rehoboth Youth Basketball highlighted Ellie Boswinkel, a player on the girls Stanford Cardinals, as its Spotlight Player of the Week. "The girls Stanford Cardinals were short handed on Saturday, but the players leveled up their game! No one stepped up to the challenge more than Ellie Boswinkel. Ellie was a dominant force on the boards, cleaning up after missed layups on her way to a double digit scoring effort against a tough team! Ellie's growth over the first few games of the season is a testament to her hard work and focus every time she enters the gym," said Coach Jon Hazard, per the league's website. The recognition comes as Rehoboth Youth Basketball's Dighton Rehoboth Spartans travel program looks ahead to its 2026-2027 season.

Rehoboth Youth Soccer Club, a nonprofit that has served the community since 1997, is registering players for its fall In-Town Recreational Program, described by the club as open to players of all experience levels and focused on fundamentals, teamwork and a fun, inclusive environment. The club also runs its DR Strikers travel program, which competes in the Rhode Island Super Liga with practices and home games at Bliss Soccer Complex.
